Founder of Rare Cars Only, Anthony Marchese, acquired an interest in automobiles from a very young age. Attending auto shows, and surrounding himself around rare and interesting cars was a common practice. This early childhood involvement is the direct source of the knowledge and understanding of the world of cars that he currently has today. Much like many others growing up, most of the fascination began with attending shows, playing racing video games, and of course, collecting as many Hot Wheels cars as possible. Cars for Anthony were never a mild interest, as he has been fixated on all aspects of automobiles since early childhood, as the photo above depicts. While some are comfortable with just simply enjoying the company of certain rare or interesting cars, Anthony decided to take his passion and develop it into a career, culminating into what we know today as Rare Cars Only. For Anthony, it's a dream come true to not only be surrounded by cars on a daily basis, but also to research, source, advertise, sell, and connect with unique individuals/collectors as frequentley as possible. Rare Cars Only is a glimpse into what Anthony has dedicated a large portion of his life towards, which is helping to preserving the history of the world's rarest automobiles, and assisting others to also learn about the spectacular creations that have been built and developed over the years from all different sorts of manufacturers and people. With Rare Cars Only, Anthony hopes to spread the love for rare and obscure cars to as many as possible, with one simple message, "The history of rare and unique cars needs to be preserved, and our company will ensure that this is comprehensively completed in a way that is easy for everyone to enjoy."
Turning A Passion Into A Career
After many years of attending auto shows, chasing down rare cars, and growing up in a family of car enthusiasts, Anthony knew the next step would be to turn his passion into a career. Beginning with photography and videography, Anthony founded an automotive media company in 2019, AM Media NY. Since the foundation of AM Media NY, the company has completed thousands of photo and video shoots for automotive brands primarily located in the United States, while also covering a myriad of events and exhibitions. After securing a number of media management positions within dealerships primarily in the New York area, Anthony decided that even more could be accomplished, resulting in the foundation of Rare Cars Only in 2020, a research, advertising, and consulting platform for rare and obscure automobiles. Rare Cars Only began as a passion project, however, after researching thousands of cars, becoming friendly with a wide variety of designers, collectors, founders and engineers, the company slowly began to transform into a large-sclae platform for rare car research. Today, Rare Cars Only has a passionate community of over 40,000 people across our social media networks, offers a medley of diverse services, and assists with exhibiting sensational cars at some of the world's greatest events.
