This concept shown here demonstrates a number of features and design elements that can be considered extragalactic, and is undeniably one of the most extravagant examples of automotive designs to have been created within the past 10 years. This is the 2019 Bentley EXP 100 GT, a concept car that was created by British manufacturer and marketer of luxury cars and SUVs, Bentley, for the celebration of the companies 100th anniversary. The design team, lead by former director of design, Stefan Sielaff, incorporated three main elements into the styling of the concept, which included , light, air and earth. These characteristics are materialized all throughout the design language of the EXP 100 GT, and on the 10th of July in 2019, the car was released to the public exactly 100 years after the Bentley company was first founded back in 1919. The essential idea of the EXP 100 GT is to emulate the idea of what a grand touring automobile might look like in the year 2035. Because of this, the EXP 100 GT is packed with an impressive combination of technologies and materials such as active aerodynamics, lively illumination both interiorly and exteriorly, smooth peripheries, and an on-board AI (artificial intelligence) system that is operable by an illuminated crystal interface. The entire project was intended to exalt both technology, and design, with a laser focus on creating a glimpse into the future. On the interior of the EXP 100 GT, you’ll find Adaptable Biometric Seating, an air curation system that is said to bring in scents from the natural world while isolating the polluted air out, and much more. This fully autonomous concept car is simply, for now, not set for actual production, but it certainly is a beautiful look at the future.
