This is the 1993 Cizeta V16T, Chassis 101, which was formerly ordered by the Sultan Of Brunei before being collected by @wearecurated after it was found sitting at a dealer in Singapore for over two decades. The car was previously offered for sale by Miami-based Vintage supercars dealership We Are Curated. This is the only Cizeta V16T of the 12 total chassis finished in Metallic Cobalt Blue, over a blue interior. The Cizeta company consisted of a group of ex-Lamborghini employees, and the Cizeta V16T was the only product they ever made. Creation of this car can be credited to automotive engineer Claudio Zampolli in collaboration with music composer Giorgio Moroder. The design was crafted & created by the famous Marcello Gandini, who was responsible for the design of the Lamborghini Miura, Countach, and the final version of the Diablo. The last Cizeta V16T built was in 2003 for a Japanese buyer who ordered a convertible (the only convertible V16T made), however, In 2018 @hagerty spoke to Claudio Zampolli, the man responsible for creating the Cizeta V16T, and he claimed he is still willing to take orders for the limited production Italian supercar. Zampolli has always said Chassis 101 is his favorite build of all 12 cars, possibly dude to its unique one-off blue on blue specification.
How many made? 12 total chassis exist, with Chassis 101 shown here being the sixth car delivered from the factory. As recently as 2018 Cizeta has said they are willing to continue to take orders for this extremely unique machine. Making this car a 1 of 12 (unless they build more)
