Originally, this 2005 Ferrari Enzo left the production facility in Maranello, Italy finished in ‘Giallo Modena’, however, in 2009, the car underwent a comprehensive overhaul, which was carried out by German automobile manufacturing and tuning company, Gemballa GmbH to become the car shown here, known as the 2010 Ferrari Gemballa MIG-U1. The car, originally built on July 27th of 2004 and completed on October 25th of 2004 with assembly 56050, engine 86077, gearbox 493, and body 327 was sold new to a first owner in Sweden via Ferrari Deutschland GmbH in November 2004. The name, MIG-U1 stands for Mustafa and Ilyas Galadari (Gemballa’s Middle East distributor, the Illyas and Mustafa Galardi Group), the donors of the original yellow Enzo for the project, and Uwe 1 (Uwe Gemballa, founder of Gemballa). MIG also stands for Mikoyan-Gurevich, derived from the founders of the Russian aircraft design bureau, and the Gemballa MIG-U1’s name is inspired by this as well. The Enzo in general is of course named after Ferrari’s legendary founder Enzo Ferrari. The model debuted in 2002 and integrates Formula 1 technologies, creating an iconic blend of race-proven performance and sophisticated engineering. Gemballa increased the MIG-U1’s output to 700 hp by optimizing the engine management system and exhaust. The MIG-U1 is equipped with an adjustable sport suspension system, featuring a lift function that elevates the car by 45mm to navigate speed bumps with ease. Some additional features of the MIG-U1 include a front skirt with a downforce-generating spoiler lip, door extensions to the diffuser and rear spoiler, a rear flap that activates at high speeds, and air inlets on the roof and behind the doors to cool the engine bay. Inside, the custom seats, center console, and steering wheel combine luxury with full control, while the high-end multimedia system, 950-watt amplifier, and Gemballa branding complete the refined interior.
