This literal ‘UFO’ on wheels shown here is known as the 2008 Vetter ETV (Extra Terrestrial Vehicle), a surreal creation built by Mike Vetter, founder of the Florida-based kit car builder ‘The Car Factory’, and MTV CONCEPTS INC. (@mtvconcepts), Vetter has had experience with hand-building custom cars for a number of years. Vetter began his car-building journey transforming Pontiac Fiero examples into Ferrari and Lamborghini replica cars, and had some success in doing so until he was threatened with legal action for constructing these kits. In response to this, Vetter had set out with the idea to create his very own design, which resulted in the uniquely-desired Extra Terrestrial Vehicle shown here. Each ETV is entirely custom built, and each utilize different donor chassis. This example shown here is actually the 10th of just 10 total ETV examples that have been constructed thus far. The first ever Extra Terrestrial Vehicle left The Car Factory in the year 2014, and examples have been delivered all around the world including Abu Dhabi, Canada, Germany, London, and the United States. Not only is this car number 10 of 10 built, but it’s also the only car to wear this very special paint shade, which is known as ‘Assassin Copper Supershift Pearl’. Another unique feature shown on this example is the ‘millennium falcon’ tail lights that are unique to only this car. Regardless of how you custom-build your ETV vehicle, each car comes equipped with remote opening scissor doors that offer round-shaped power windows. The interior is just as futuristic as the exterior, where you will find two video monitors that display to the driver and passenger video feeding from the exterior video cameras, which is ultimately a system used to replace the conventional rear view mirrors, however interestingly, this car has both. Between the unique tear-drop shape, the wonderful wheel covers, and the futuristic technology, the Vetter ETV is something from out-of-this-world!
