This is the one-of-a-kind 1999 Pagani Zonda C12 (ZA9C820C10SF76003), the only Zonda of any kind finished in a color known as ‘Giallo Pastello’, and the last all original Pagani Zonda C12. This special example is also 1 of just 2 Zondas to still be equipped with the 6.0L Mercedes-Benz M120 V12 engine. The Zonda is a mid-engined supercar produced by Pagani Automobili S.p.A. which first ever debuted at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show. Many different variations and one or few-off models have been created based off the Zonda, and one of them is the car shown here, the Pagani Zonda C12. The Zonda C12 was the companies first ever production model and was first shown at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show. The C12 was designed by the companies founder, Horacio Pagani and was inspired by the styling of Mercedes-Benz Group C racing cars. Initially, Pagani built 5 total C12 cars, all equipped with a 6.0L (366 cu in) Mercedes-Benz M120V12 engine (plus 1 additional car for crash testing purposes making for a total of 6). As of today, C12 76002 has become the ‘La Nonna’, 76004/76001 (vin swapped) was the crash test car and no longer exists, 76005 was built to S 7.0 specifications, 76006 has been upgraded to S 7.3 specifications, 76007 became the Zonda ‘AB’, and 76001 is the only other remaining Zonda with the 6.0L V12, however, this example was constructed new with new parts in 2019 through the Pagani Rinascimento Program in order to replicate the 76005 Geneva Motor Show car, making this car shown here 76003 the last truly all-original C12 left and the total number of C12 cars ever built to be 7. This car is simply a pure time capsule example of one of the greatest models ever to leave the Pagani assembly plant in San Cesario sul Panaro, Italy, and truly, the beginning of Pagani’s long and highly successful career as a manufacturer.
