This car shown here is clearly a stunning example of a 2007 Spyker C8 Spyder finished in a 1 of 1 specification of ‘Jet Black’ over a very unique ‘Goodwood Green’ leather interior. This car is considered to be a first-generation Spyder C8 Spyder, which was built from 2000 until 2009, after making it’s first ever appearance at the 2000 Birmingham Motor Show. This specific example is truly unique as no other car is finished in this paint/leather combination, and it also just so happens to be the exact car that was featured in the popular ‘Fast and Furious 6’ film. This example was reportedly built in the year 2003, however, after sitting in the Monaco Spyker showroom for a number of years, it was later registered for road use in the year 2007, making this car an earlier example in the production lineup overall. This car wears chassis number 36, out of just a total of about 160 examples that were produced for the entire world. Considering this car is also a right-hand drive, it’s one of only 8 total right-hand drive examples built for the world. The C8 Spyder was built as a result of the design work of a Dutch engineer named Maarten de Bruijn, who is also the co-founder of the Spyker Cars company alongside Dutch businessman, Victor Muller. The Dutch sports car marque ‘Spyker Cars’ was officially founded in the year 1999, with this model shown here, and the C8 Laviolette being the first models offered for sale by the company. On July 14 of 2005 it was announced that the C8 models would officially be approved for sale in the United States market, however, not many of them were built and sold overall, making it a truly unique piece of automotive history.
